Stress Management: A Proactive and Therapeutic Approach

This course will introduce to you the theory, skills and techniques of effective stress management. Learners will find out how to assess the risk of stress and learn practical techniques that can be built into a person's daily routine and reduce the impact of stress on their lives.

Delivered over seven modules, each module will be accompanied by a relaxation exercise which will be emailed out to all participants at the end of each session. There will also be stress management forms, questionnaires, information handouts, relaxation and breathing logs to measure progress.

This course is suitable for anyone who has an interest in gaining a better understanding of stress and would like to be proactive in managing their stress or supporting others to successfully manage their stress both.

  • Module 7 - Lifestyle and Self care

Course Duration

This is a seven-part modular course that can be delivered over a seven or 12 week period. Each module is 1.5 hours long and is tutor led (plus at the end of each module an additional 15 minute Q&A session)
