This course is designed to provide Leaders with an awareness of the impact of mental heath in the workplace from a strategic perspective. This will include the role of Leaders and how their own behaviours can affect the wellbeing of their employees.
Learn how to use your leadership role to shape cultures that can promote positive work environments, build connections between team members, link individuals' contributions back to the wider business and enhance good wellbeing and emotional literacy.
We will cover the following areas:
- Exploring the role of mental wellbeing in the workplace
- Workplace Stress: the impact on individual and organisational performance, strategies to manage and prevent stress
- How to recognise the early signs and symptoms of individuals struggling from a mental health and wellbeing perspective
- Communication: How to start natural conversations about mental wellbeing at work and be an active listener
- Understanding the role of the leader in shaping a culture that supports positive mental wellbeing in the workplace and developing emotional literacy
- Identifying and evaluating wellbeing initiatives and outcomes
- Tools and strategies to cultivate good wellbeing
